The Eagles hope teenage quartet Zac Urquhart, Jai Perry, Sam James and Tom James will provide pace against Warrnambool in their round 18 showdown at Bushfield Recreation Reserve on Saturday.
They cling to third spot on percentage with Port Fairy, which faces Terang Mortlake, determined to displace them.
Eagles co-coach Graeme Twaddle believes the teenage inclusions will add spark.
“We know we’ll be playing finals on bigger grounds so we wanted to get those boys back in the mix,” he said.
“They are enthusiastic and will give us everything they’ve got. At the moment there is no cap on it, no ceiling – they are improving all the time.”
League leading goalkicker Dylan Parish will miss with an infected toe but will be fit to play finals.
