Corangamite region police attended a car fire late Thursday night.
Senior Constable Shannon Kavenagh said the silver sedan was stolen from a Leura Street address on August 18 and police received a report of a car fire at 11.25pm Thursday.
She said police found the car well alight. The Camperdown Country Fire Authority unit attended and put out the blaze.
The car was extensively damaged but able to be towed.
