The three agencies, J & J Kelly, Charles Stewart Western Victoria and Brian O’Halloran & Co, are members of the rma network that has partnered with The Pancare Foundation to help cancer patients in regional Australia.
The Pancare Foundation is a not for profit organisation working to increase survival rates from pancreatic, liver, bilary, oesophageal and stomach cancers and providing support to people affected by these cancers.
Over the past three years, the rma network has given about $230,000 to the Pancare Foundation for patient support such as the Regional Travel Assistance Program. Funds from the rma have also supported the first recipient of the rma network and Pancare Foundation Research Scholarship, Dr David Lau, of Melbourne, who is researching new therapies for bilary tract cancer.
