The David Loader-coached outfit plays eighth-ranked Calder Cannons on Saturday before a final-round showdown against sixth-placed Oakleigh Chargers.
Both games are at the Rebels’ Eureka Stadium home base.
They hold top spot on percentage only, with Dandenong Stingrays well-placed to displace them.
Both sides have 12-3 win-loss records but the Stingrays have a softer run home.
South Warrnambool jet Hugh McCluggage, Warrnambool utility Luke McLeod, Portland midfielder Tom Templeton and Koroit forward Jarrod Korewha will play against the Cannons.
Thirteen Hampden league players have represented the Rebels in 2015, including highly-rated Warrnambool utility Tom Schnerring who suffered a season-ending knee injury in round one.
