About 4300 people attended the game which featured former AFL coach Mick Malthouse and Hawthorn player Jordan Lewis.
Foundation Liaison officer Jacinta Roache said funds would go to families of children with rare cancers.
“It will help the influx of families and we don’t have to turn them away,” she said.
The foundation hopes to secure a grant to employ a NSW patient advocate.
