Student’s from South West TAFE’s diploma of Travel, Tourism and Events hope to create a desert oasis with a cocktail and canapés night, raising money for an annual trip to Alice Springs.
Project co-ordinator Katrina McCosh said tickets for the night on August 12 were still available.
“It will help cover the cost of our airfares,” she said.
“We will be in Alice Springs for four weeks work experience.
“We work in two different resorts across all the different departments.
“It’s an annual trip and the past students have said how great it is.”
Tickets for the night are $30 and reservations can be made by contacting Emily Dubois on 0411 572 607 or emilyjdubois@gmail.com.
