Eskimo Joe frontman Kav Temperley and producer Grant Windsor will finish the two-day program at Timboon P-12 College by recording songs with 15 music students on Tuesday. As Eskimo Joe’s bassist and singer, Temperley has won eight ARIA awards, including four for their 2006 album Black Fingernails, Red Wine.
VET music teacher Drew Deppeler was happy to hand the class over to some of the Australian industry’s best.
“Grant has produced some of the best acts in the world and by the end of these two days he will record their songs too,” he said.
The SongMakers program is run by Australia’s peak musician representative group, APRA AMCOS.
