The Inspiring Alumni program was started in 2009 to motivate younger generations of Emmanuel College students to follow their dreams.
On September 4 the school will officially induct basketball coach Trevor Gleeson, Dulux CEO Patrick Houlihan, artist Don Gallagher, Dr Laurence Gleeson, and Father Patrick Mugavin, an advocate for victims of sexual abuse.
The evening event at the Lighthouse Theatre will also feature a showcase of student talent across various disciplines, including music, dance, drama, fashion design and spoken word.
There have been 27 former students from Emmanuel, CBC and St Ann's College previously added to the honour roll, including fashion designer Lisa Gorman, cyclist and Olympic silver medallist Michelle Ferris, comedian Dave Hughes, musician Shane Howard, and retired AFL star Jonathan Brown.
New inductee Dr Laurence Gleeson, a CBC student in the 1960s, has been at the forefront of animal health diagnostic tools and epidemic control. Since his time with the Warrnambool Seahawks, Gleeson has had an extremely successful career, last year coaching the Perth Wildcats to an National Basketball League championship. He also coached the Australian national team the same year at the FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain.
Gleeson frequently returns to Warrnambool to hold basketball clinics with south-west juniors.
