The Rebels victory was never in doubt as they walloped the fourth-placed Eastern Ranges outfit 25.8. (158) to 10.5. (65). The win keeps the Rebels in top spot on the ladder after 15 rounds.
“It was a team orientated win and we worked really hard for four quarters,” Loader said.
One of the stars of the victory was South Warrnambool’s Hugh McCluggage who was named in the best and kicked three goals.
Loader said it McCluggage’s best performance as a Rebel.
“Hugh was super, he is growing in statue each time he plays. He started in the midfield rotation and then forward and midfield in the second half and was really impressive.”
Jarrod Korewha, Charlie Lee, Tom Templeton, Luke McLeod and Nick Hausler were other Hampden players who were part of the win.
