Tours will begin from 10.30am on Sunday, along with a plethora of entertainment and activities. There will be performers including a 3D chalk artist, a roving juggler, outdoor circus troupe, African drumming troupe, while the Deakin Sharks will run an Auskick clinic at the oval. Students can create their own smoothies on a “bike and blend” stand and segways will be available to help people move around the campus.
Campus head Professor Gerry Quinn said he hoped all south-west students thinking about university would take the opportunity to inspect the campus with their families.
“Deakin is focused firmly on the future and opened to new thinking,” he said.
