The VIEW (Voice Interests and Education of Women) club celebrated 20 years in the city with a lunch at Proudfoots on Monday.
Warrnambool City Councillor Kylie Gaston, VIEW national president Robin Perros, national councillor Sunnie Watts and zone councillor Trina Ebling joined the club’s 78 members for the celebration.
Club president Catherine Keane said entertainment was provided from rock and roll dancers Leanne and Hal Greer and bagpiper Glenda Keane.
“We had a fantastic time with lots of fun and laughter,” Ms Keane said.
VIEW Clubs support The Smith Family, a charity who sponsor disadvantaged children and help them obtain an education. The Warrnambool club sponsors three children in the south-west area. For more information about the club and its activities locally, call Ms Keane on 5561 2981.
