That’s how the three-time Brisbane Lions premiership star introduces his tell-all book ‘Jonathan Brown, life and football’, to be launched on Wednesday.
“I loved everything about being a footballer: the wins, the losses, the mateship, the competition,” he writes.
“I loved the adrenaline rush that comes with taking a great mark, kicking a great goal or flattening an opponent with a big hip-and-shoulder.”
The South Warrnambool export details his rise from Hampden league junior to AFL power forward in the autobiography, released a year after he ended his decorated 256-game career. Brown now works in the media calling football and appearing on Fox Footy.
