Greyhound Racing Victoria has handed the Koroit Street track an additional full-tote race day in most months until the end of the 2015-16 financial year.
The club will race again on August 14, a Friday. Three extra Tuesday meetings – in September, October and November – are thanks to redevelopment works at Horsham.
Warrnambool Greyhound Racing Club manager Mick Cottee said the increase came at the expense of Sunday meetings reallocated from Traralgon last season.
“Traralgon will be finished soon, they’ll get those meetings back. But in saying that, GRV have given us almost another dozen,” he said.
