Blues coach Scott Carter said he was thrilled with the unbeaten Blues’ first half of the season.
But the premiership mentor believes the Blues, who face reigning premier Koroit on Saturday, can fine-tune their game plan on the home stretch.
"We have plenty to work on, but the other story is we have plenty to work with,” Carter said.
"What we've got to work on is concentration lapses, decision-making, as was evident in that last quarter (against North Warrnambool Eagles).
"Earlier in the season we were guilty of poor conversion in front of goals.”
