A first division prize of $1,021,747.62 was won in Saturday night’s draw but the ticketholder’s identity is still a mystery to all.
McGee’s Lotto, Cards & Gifts owner Tony McGee sold the winning numbers. He said it was Portland’s 31st first division win.
“It’s a good feeling to get a win. We’re a lucky town,” he said.
“The winning ticket is floating around somewhere. We’ve never had an uncollected win, but they’re out there somewhere.
“We have a lot of regulars here so there’s a great deal of comment in town about it and a lot of interest.”
Mr McGee said the prizemoney would remain with the state revenue office until it was claimed.
The winning entry was not registered to a Tatts Card, leaving Tatts unable to contact the winner.
If someone believes they are holding the winning ticket, they are advised to contact Tatts as soon as possible to start the process of claiming their prize.
