The Warrnambool nightclub will open its doors for its Biggest Morning Tea with a dual focus on women’s health and also the history of the building.
Gallery Nightclub owner Susie Porter said there would be a guest speaker from the Jean Hailes Clinic in Melbourne which is a not-for-profit organisation that works to improve the knowledge of women’s health throughout the various stages of their lives.
Mrs Porter said the talk would look at women’s cancers and their prevention.
There will also be a question and answer session after the talk.
Mrs Porter said Marita Murphy would also speak on the history of the nightclub building and also the buildings on the corner of Kepler and Timor streets.
“She’ll talk about who owned it and who built it.”
Mrs Porter said it was the first time she had hosted a Biggest Morning Tea and it was a chance to show off the beautiful old building.
The morning tea starts at 10am with a $5 entry.
