Warrnambool police hope a member of the public may have information about the assault of a teenager in Morris Road on Friday night.

Sergeant Rachel Field said the 14-year-old was riding his skateboard home about 5.45pm when an unknown male kicked him in the face in front of a Morris Road address.
She said the boy was knocked off his skateboard and received minor injuries.
"It was an unprovoked attack and is quite concerning," Sergeant Field said.
"The male is unknown and left the area straight after. There is no other description available.
"We hope someone in the area may have seen the assault and have further information."
Sergeant Field said anyone with information should contact Warrnambool police.
