Able to take images with a bird's eye view, drones enable photographers to capture scenes usually reserved for aerial photographers shooting pictures from planes.

Drones have become such a popular tool for photographers a new social platform called Dronestagr.am has been established, enabling users to share their images.

The platform has since expanded to include an Instagram account, a Facebook page, a Twitter profile and an app.
