A POLICE explosives expert is expected to arrive in Warrnambool on Wednesday afternoon to continue investigations into the bomb scare in front of Brauer College.

Warrnambool Senior Sergeant Russell Tharle said the investigator would sift through remnants of the device which was disabled in a controlled detonation on Tuesday night.
He said it was likely to be taken to Melbourne for forensic testing.
Senior Sergeant Tharle said police were canvassing the area to try and find who was responsible.
"We are looking for CCTV footage from nearby businesses and speaking with the school.
"We are also speaking with the busline. They would have been dropping people off there all day and may have some information.
"If there is anyone who has any information they are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The suspected pipe bomb was discovered by a gardener on the edge of the school grounds, near a public bus shelter on Caramut Road just before 2pm Tuesday. The gardener notified one of the school's assistant principals, who then contacted police.
The discovery triggered a lock down of the area, with a 100-metre exclusion zone put in place, roads closed and businesses evacuated.
Students at the school were moved to the auditorium before leaving the school grounds via the northern exits.
The exclusion zone was lifted and roads reopened after 8pm Tuesday night.
