The annual fund-raiser for the Koroit Football Netball Club attracted North Melbourne team of the century player Sam Kekovich as MC, Brisbane Lions triple premiership player Jonathan Brown, Hawthorn premiership player Campbell Brown and top horse trainers Peter Moody and Darren Weir.
Speaking before the event, Koroit FNC committee member Dallas Ludeman said there was also the hope of some surprise last-minute additions to the line-up, while former Carlton star Stephen Kernahan was a late apology.
Ludeman said the Sports Lovers’ Night had sold out in recent years and was the club’s biggest fund-raiser event of the year.
