The Power conceded the first five goals of the match and trailed by seven points at half-time, but swung the contest kicking into the wind in the third term.
It kept the Warriors to 0.4 - a stunning result considering the gale blowing towards the northern end - and mustered 2.4 during a match-defining period.
Goals from Mark Clissold (two), Matt Harkin and Jono Gleeson then sealed a memorable 11.12 (78) to 8.6 (54) Anzac Day triumph.
Utility Joe O'Sullivan was a deserving best-afield, swinging between attack and defence depending on which way the Power kicked.
Former coach Ben Kenna, onballers Joe Conheady, Joe Kenna and Matt Harkin and defender Justin Hicks also earned plaudits for the visitors.
The Warriors named Jacob Lacy as their best for his work tagging Clissold, although the Power forward was exceptional with the match in the balance.
Josh Dwyer was the pick of the hosts' onballers and key forward Chris Chambers worked hard and kicked three first-half goals.
Undersized ruckmen Vinnie Fogarty and Daniel Weel also toiled hard, with the latter among the best in the first term, while Ben Rantall was prominent.
But defeat came with an added blow. Jimmy McKenzie injured a hamstring in the third term, although the severity of the injury is unclear.
In the A grade netball, Old Collegians preserved its unbeaten start with a 41-22 win, with midcourters Rachel Alderson and Meagan Forth leading the way.
Goal keeper Tania Barbary was the standout for the Power, which has suffered back-to-back defeats having lost to Timboon Demons seven days earlier.
