A panel of industry experts will discus the future of broadband in the south-west at the Lighthouse Theatre on Friday.
THE 2012 Business Festival has been hailed a success as it enters its sixth and final week.
Hundreds of community and business leaders have supported the festival, with high attendance figures throughout and several sold-out events.
The final week of the festival has a short but diverse program, beginning with the launch of Dr Andrew Creed’s new book Organisational Behaviour at Warrnam-bool Art Gallery today.
Australian Turntable Company executive chairman Paul Chapman will head a workshop titled ‘Think Differently: Pursue New Opportunities’ at Lady Bay on Thursday, and a panel of industry experts will discuss the future of broadband in the region at Lighthouse Theatre on Friday.
Warrnambool City Council’s business support manager Tanya Egan said the festival had been well received by the business community.
“We have had such great numbers at all of the events and so much positive feedback about the high quality of guest speakers, presenters and activities during the festival,” Ms Egan said.
“It has been fantastic to see so much support for the festival in its inaugural year and we are very excited about the ideas and networks set to stem from it.”
The Business Festival is a joint initiative of Warrnambool City Council, Moyne Shire and Commerce Warrnambool, delivered in partnership with local businesses and organisations across the region.
It coincided with the statewide Small Business Festival.
