She finished with a scratch score of 118 to beat Hamilton’s Libby Lewis in the 27-hole event at Port Fairy.
Rix was one of 99 players to contest the event, played for the first time under new zone boundaries.
Lewis collected handicap honours from Terang’s Marion Venn. Cobden’s Di McKenzie took home the bronze division one 18-hole stroke event with 93, from Warrnambool’s Alison Woolley (94).
The bronze division two 18-hole stableford went to Camperdown’s Mandy Dalton with 41 points. Port Fairy’s Judi Stokes won bronze division three crown.
