The three-member team defeated Sungold five sets to one, 38-18 in the grand final at the Pertobe Road grasscourts on Saturday afternoon.
The victorious players were Toby Timms, Thomas Champness and Steve Timms. They beat Andrew Crawford, Ashley Johnstone and Danielle Higgins.
In A grade, minor premier Norton Motor Group defeated Koonara Wines four sets to two, 41-32.
Alan Ryan, Allen Parotte, Barry Smith and Ian Gibbs represented the victors against Sarah Milroy, Mick Absalom, Kate Pennington and David Hetherington.
In B grade, decided the previous weekend, Dwyer Robinson edged out Norton Motor Group four sets to two.
Julieanne McMahon, Jessica Green, Chris McEwan and Simon Boyd were the pennant-winning players.
They came up against Rachel Gladman, Craig Dredge, Gavin Flett and Dylan Tengrootenhuysen.
WLTC president Tony Robinson said the grand finals were the culmination of a bumper summer for the club. About 70 players took part in senior pennant.
“The finals of the pennant followed on from an incredibly- successful March long weekend tournament,” Robinson said.
“Most of the players (in the tournament) were from Melbourne and other places and the feedback was sensational.
“It was a vast success and a great success financially. The whole town was buzzing.
“Our new coaches Andrew Crawford and Helen Papaevagelou have settled in really well. It’s been a very successful season for the club.”
Robinson hoped WLTC could carry that momentum into winter.
“Tennis is alive and well in the town. That’s the end of our summer but there’s coaching on throughout the year,” he said.
“The club will be making good use of its six floodlit courts to put on other events throughout the year.”
