Ambulance officers had to work quickly to help the driver of a car which had crashed into an electricity pole in Warrnambool yesterday with fears the power lines may fall. The man was assessed in his car before being taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the Tozer Road accident about 11am. The impact of the crash caused major damage to the front of the car and the pole, which will have to be replaced. Senior Constable Parkinson said police would talk to the driver in the next couple of days.
