Two of the four finalists for the prestigious Graham Perkin journalist of the year award are Age reporters. Crime writer John Silvester has been shortlisted for his multimedia reports on police involved in fatal shootings and business writer Adele Ferguson for exposing the financial advice scandal at the Commonwealth Bank. The other finalists are ABC TV's Europe correspondent Philip Williams and the Seven Network's Chris Reason. The winner, who also receives $20,000, will be announced at the Melbourne Press Club Quill awards dinner on March 20.
