The children’s and family entertainment group from Lake Bolac will stop in Warrnambool on March 30, as part of their regional Victoria tour.
The Mik Maks are Australia’s newest family music act and brothers Brian, Joel, Alan and Dean McInnes perform quirky songs for children and adults.
“We write and perform our own songs that focus on engaging children through colour, actions and movement,” Alan McInnes said.
“It’s quirky, a little bit rock and a little bit country. We have a drumming panda on stage with us and Bruce the hairy crocodile also makes an appearance.”
McInnes said $2 from every ticket sold would be given to the ticketholder’s kindergarten of choice.
“It’s just one way of giving back to the local kindergartens,” he said.
The Mik Maks have been performing as a group for the past three years and have made music their full-time job.
