The young cat is one of 30 kittens from Warrnambool’s RSPCA seeking a family, couple or single companion as the organisation puts the call out to prospective owners.
RSPCA volunteers claim the cluster of cats is too much cuteness for one shelter to handle and want to share the love.
Warrnambool shelter supervisor Janita McLeod said owning a cat was incredibly rewarding. For a small fee, kittens adopted from RSPCA go to their forever homes micro-chipped, vaccinated and behavioural tested.
“We generally start to see an increase in kitten numbers at the shelter from about mid-December to roughly next month,” Ms McLeod said.
“Given we have a number of kittens here, we’ve got cats in a number of colours and patterns. Some people get overwhelmed by the choice when they come into the shelter. It’s hard not to love them.”
