A Melbourne man has reportedly been killed in a motorcycle accident on the popular holiday island Phuket, in Thailand.

The man is believed to be 34 years old and from Langwarrin, in Melbourne's south-east, Channel 7 reported.
Local newspaper Phuket Gazette reported that an unidentified man of "European appearance" had been killed in a high-speed motorcycle crash in southern Phuket.
The newspaper reported the man was riding a rented motorbike when he crashed about 5.30am on Thursday.
It is understood the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is helping the man's family.
