Trae, 6, will join three of his four brothers at the school, with Kayne, 12, in grade six, Kye, 9, in grade four and Nate, 8, in grade two.
Trae’s younger brother Cale, 4, will start at kindergarten this year.
Mum Susanne said Trae was looking forward to his first day.
“He already has some friends from kindergarten and Nate will look after him as he’s in the junior school,” she said.
To get ready for each day the family has a finely tuned morning routine.
“It’s not too bad,” Mrs Brereton said. “The older kids are good at getting ready.”
In the garage the five boys each have a locker and shoe draws. Every afternoon after school they leave their backpack in their locker and tuck their shoes away.
Mrs Brereton said the lockers helped to make the mornings go more smoothly, with no lost school shoes or missing bags.
Kayne said the boys get up about 6.30am, watch television, eat breakfast, get dressed and brush their teeth, before they are out the door at 8.30am.
“We have a few alarms that go off throughout the morning,” their mum said.
