After 10 years, the constantly evolving market is still going strong and continues to support its community through fund-raising.
Held annually during the busy January holiday period, and again at Easter, the markets have been responsible for various improvements around the town.
Organiser Kylie Trebble said a camp kitchen at the community park was one of many improvements and facilities the market had helped fund.
She said the final market of the summer this Sunday would again have an eclectic mix of stalls.
“We have everything from farm fresh produce, through to handmade soy candles, amazing hand-crafted jewellery and a local author selling her book,” Ms Trebble said.
“Some of the jewellery is beautiful. It’s inspired by cuttlefish. They carve a pattern out of a cuttlefish shell and pour the silver into it.
“It leaves the most amazing imprints in the silver and the final product is just stunning.”
She said the markets were also producing spin-off events for the town.
“This year we had our fist produce swap at the market,” Ms Trebble said.
“We’ll have another one this week and will look at organising something on a regular basis through the year.
“Basically anyone who has been growing something, baking something or making something that can be eaten can come along and swap it with others.”
The market will be held between 9am and 2pm near the tennis courts.
