Judge approves record $500m settlement over deadly Kilmore East-Kinglake Black Saturday bushfires

A Supreme Court judge has formally approved a record $500 million settlement over the Kilmore East-Kinglake Black Saturday bushfires, which claimed the lives of 119 people and destroyed or damaged 1772 homes and properties.
