The motorcyclists will be carrying toys and other gifts for the Salvation Army to distribute to local families.
More than 300 motorcyclists took part in the event last December and organisers expect at least a similar number to take part this year.
Motorcyclists will gather at Rafferty’s Tavern on Raglan Parade from 12.30pm for a 1pm departure to ride to Port Fairy.
They will return to Warrnambool via Koroit to finish at Lake Pertobe for a barbecue about 2.15pm-2.30pm. The ride had been organised by Trevor and Bonnie Warnecke and Terry “Spike” Malone for about 20 years.
It was first organised by the Warrnambool Roadrunners Motorcycle Club but the three continued the event after the club folded.
Mr Warnecke said he had stayed involved because he knew there were many people who could not afford much for Christmas.
Mr Warnecke said the event had become more popular and was a regular event in the festive season activities of many local motorcyclists.
He said people who were not in the toy run could also drop off gifts and non-perishable foods at the toy run’s terminus at Lake Pertobe.
