Thieves have stolen more than 7000 worms from a property in Victoria's west.

The worms - which police say were valued at a dollar each - were taken from a residence in Horsham on Saturday.
Senior Constable Melissa Seach said police believe the Wawunna Road property was targeted between 10am and 4.30pm.
