About 45 stalls sold a huge selection of gifts and other Christmas-themed items, some of them made by local artists and Brauer students.
The market was organised by the school’s Port Fairy Parents and Friends committee as a fund-raiser for the school.
Committee member Kristy Sanderson said hundreds of people visited the market during the day and the event’s success prompted the committee to consider making the market an annual event.
There was also a performance of Christmas carols and an appearance by Mrs Klaus who handed out lollies.
