Barbados tennis player Darian King has been disqualified in the first round of the Charlottesville Men's Pro Challenger after after he threw his racquet, hitting a lineswoman.

Down 6-4 6-6(4-2) to Great Britain's Edward Corrie, the 22-year-old reacted to a lost point by throwing his racquet against the padded back wall of the court. Unfortunately for the lineswoman, the piece of equipment rebounded and collided with her back.
After receiving medical treatment on the court, the woman was cleared of serious injury.
The bemused player was immediately disqualified for a code violation.
King has won three Future titles this year in America, Romania and the Netherlands. He has also won five of his six Davis Cup singles matches to help Barbados progress to the first group next year.
