The annual event, which kicked off on Thursday and continues today and tomorrow, is expected to attract more than 5000 people.
Cruise director Arthur Matsakos said patrons come from USA, France and New Zealand. International and local acts will playing across the weekend at various Camperdown venues.
“During the day, the stage at the clocktower will have music going all weekend,” he said.
“From 9.30am there is a classic car show and trade stalls.
“We also have the theatre burlesque coming. It’s not to be missed.”
Rockabilly dance lessons and competition, a barbershop, glamour central vintage shopping and beauty and a best-dressed competition will also be highlights.
The Camperdown Cruise Pin-Up competition is also scheduled, with 10 finalists taking to the stage.
Warrnambool’s Lucy Keogh will be transforming herself into pin-up girl Miss Lucy Anastasia for the competition.
“I have loved vintage since a young age,” she said.
This will be the first year Ms Keogh is competing in the pin-up competition. In her day-to-day wear Ms Keogh likes to incorporate rockabilly or rock’n’roll items.
“I don’t like to be like everyone else.”
Chloe Brian, of Warrnambool, is also a finalist in the competition, using the stage name Miss Mae B Babe.
“My outfits are some items from Lifeline Camperdown shop and locally-sourced vintage pieces,” Ms Brian said.
She describes herself as a “community engagement, marketing and events manager by day and a ghetto, vintage, party girl by night”.
Tickets to view the classic cars, trade stalls and the clocktower stage today and tomorrow are $10.
