Jessie James, 22, of Raglan Parade, Warrnambool, was remanded to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday after being transported to hospital.
He was arrested on an outstanding warrant for trafficking ice about midnight and police allege they found cannabis and crystal methamphetamine in his possession.
Magistrate John Lesser was told Mr James had suffered two seizures in the Warrnambool police station, an ambulance was called and he was transported to Warrnambool Base Hospital where he was placed under a police guard.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Sandra Skilton successfully applied for Mr James be remanded in custody until Monday.
