OLYMPIC equestrian and international judge Barry Roycroft will talk about his extraordinary life at a fund-raising dinner in Terang next month.

Mr Roycroft will speak on Friday, November 7 at the Annual Josie Black Dinner that raises funds for the philanthropic group, the South West Community Foundation.
In 2013-2014, the foundation allocated a total of $131,879 in 48 community grants and $23,500 in $50 Back To School vouchers to help families meet school costs.
Mr Roycroft is part of an equestrian dynasty. He is the eldest son of Bill Roycroft, who was also an Olympic equestrian.
Barry Roycroft’s first Olympics were in 1964 when he competed with his father in Tokyo.
In 1976, Barry, his younger brother Wayne and their father Bill were all selected for the Australian team at the Montreal Olympics. Barry also competed at the Seoul Olympics in 1988. A highly respected equestrian coach and international judge, Mr Roycroft and his wife Lynne still officiate at national equestrian events.
The Josie Black Dinner will be held in the Rose Room of the Terang Civic Centre from 6.30pm.
