The graffiti was sprayed on locations on the Warrnambool seaside, including the front fence of South Warrnambool kindergarten, the breakwater and Apex arch on Pertobe Road.
Warrnambool police station commander Senior Sergeant Shane Keogh said police regarded the graffiti as criminal damage and were hunting the perpetrators.
He asked anyone with information about the graffiti attacks to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Warrnambool City Council community services director Kellie King said the attack on the South Warrnambool kindergarten was disappointing and repairs to the fence sprayed would cost ratepayers.
South Warrnambool kindergarten director Sandra O’Sullivan said children at the kindergarten had been told the graffiti was inappropriate behaviour.
“They were told it’s not a thing we do to other people’s property,” Ms O’Sullivan said.
