Tristan Krepp, 21 of Heydon Street, pleaded guilty in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court yesterday to breaching an intervention order and stalking.
The court heard that in July and August this year Mr Krepp sent up to 114 text messages to his former partner, including 96 that were of an “inappropriate nature”.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Sandra Skilton said Mr Krepp harassed the woman repeatedly and told her he had shared nude photos of her on Facebook and with his friends.
“None of your secrets are safe with me any more,” the accused told the victim in a text message.
The victim pleaded with Mr Krepp to stop contacting her, to which he replied with a screen shot from Facebook which portrayed the victim naked.
Defence counsel Alex McCulloch said his client had “clear anger management issues”.
Magistrate John Lesser said there was no excuse for Mr Krepp’s actions which were constant over the two months and had caused serious distress to his victim.
“The nature of this offending was serious and detrimental to the person involved,” he said.
Mr Lesser withheld a conviction, telling Mr Krepp the effect would “end your career” in horticulture.
“If you end up re-offending you will serve time and it will be the end of your career,” Mr Lesser said.
Mr Krepp was fined $2000 without conviction and issued with a community corrections order.
