During the school break toddlers to teens can get involved with a range of hands-on activities from craft to cooking.
Testing out their skills in the kitchen, children made pizzas in the first Cooking Up A Storm session yesterday morning.
Flagstaff Hill tea room worker Janette Daley said cooking classes will be held three times during the program.
“We try to vary it up. It could be slices, it could be scones, something simple that all the children can deal with. We always get a big turn up,” she said.
Cooking Up A Storm will also be held at 11am on Sunday, September 28 and Friday, October 3.
Sessions vary daily and children can create their own flying koi fish, rolled paper wall art and pencil toppers.
Activities will be held at 11am and 2pm daily. Bookings are required for some sessions, including cooking classes.
