Deputy principal Damien Webster said teacher and dance enthusiast Amy Atwell had spearheaded the project, which featured every pupil in the school.
The production followed one girl, played by Keela Moloney-Smith, as she travelled the world and experienced different dances representative of each continent.
The dance spectacular was part of the school’s integrated arts program, which Mr Webster said usually resulted in an annual concert which could feature drama, poetry, public speaking, music or other performing arts.
The surprise of the night, which drew a crowd of about 600 people, was a performance by the teachers, who had been rehearsing their own part of the show unbeknownst to the parents and pupils.
