Port Campbell Country Fire Authority captain Phillip Younis said his brigade received the call-out at just after 7pm.
A fallen power line sparked a small fire at the back of the Southern Ocean Villas in Port Campbell's McQue Street.
"When we attended police were on the scene. We blacked out everything and Powercor was called in to isolate the power. There was a live cable on the ground," he said.
A Powercor spokesman said supply was turned off at 10.10pm, affecting 339 customers, repairs were made and the power was back on at 11.40pm.
