The information session will be held on Wednesday, September 10 from 6.30pm at the Mackillop Room, Quest Apartments in Julia Street.
Make-A-Wish Australia chief executive officer Gerard Menses said the Portland branch grants wishes across the entire south-west.
“Make-A-Wish volunteers play a critical role in ensuring that life-changing wishes are granted to children in their region, and across the country,” Mr Menses said.
“Our inspiring volunteers meet the wish children to discover their cherished wish, and organise a special presentation once the wish is ready to be granted.
“They also play a pivotal role in helping to raise much needed funds for Make-A-Wish so that we can continue our wish granting work.”
