The externally fitted batteries, valued about $1000, were stolen from trucks and were tested and had wiring cut before being removed.
Security camera footage appears to show a man in his 30s who may be able to help police with their investigations.

Meanwhile, Mortlake police are expected to charge a man in his 30s for using someone else’s bank card at automatic teller machines to obtain about $1000.
First Paul Constable Fiddaman said the man was arrested at a Mortlake address following a three-month investigation.
He is alleged to have been filmed by a security camera using the card.
He will be charged on summons to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court.
