A visitor guide, resource booklet and website have been developed in an effort to welcome and support visitors from Australia’s second largest international tourism market.
A 16-page visitor guide and an off-shoot of website visit12apostles.com.au were developed during workshops which more than 40 tourism operators from across the Corangamite Shire attended.
Port Campbell Visitor Information Centre co-ordinator Mark Cuthell said content for the new guide came from the workshops and from communication with Chinese visitors to the centre.
“By improving support for Chinese-speaking visitors we can improve the economic, cultural and social opportunities for our communities,” he said.
“The Twelve Apostles is a must see on an Australian visit.”
