Senior Constable Tanya Cook from Terang Police said the delivery truck was heading west towards Warrnambool when it crossed to the wrong side of the highway and ended up in trees, just near Bend Road about 7pm.
She said the two occupants received minor injuries and were taken to hospital.
"They were very lucky not to be more seriously injured," Senior Constable Cook said.
"The cab of the truck has been badly damaged and a specialist tow from Melbourne will be needed to remove it from the trees.
"At this stage we aren't exactly what has happened and investigations are ongoing."
