THREE Mortlake district people aged in their mid 20s have been charged with theft after an incident in the town early Sunday morning.
Detective Senior Constable Wayne Ryan, of the Warrnambool crime investigation unit, said two men and a woman were alleged to have attended an address in Townsend Street about 1.30am Sunday.
He said it was alleged two people entered the house and removed a 32-inch LCD television and a mobile telephone valued at $1150.
The three have been bailed to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on October 13. Police described the theft as opportunistic.
