The dozen maintenance workers at Koroit stopped work for 24 hours from 6am yesterday in frustration at the lack of progress in negotiations for their claim for better pay and conditions in their next three-year EBA.
Australian Manufacturing Workers Union (AMWU) organiser Mark Solly said the workers had also banned overtime for the next six months and attending callouts.
Mr Solly said the impact of the stopwork was not likely to be known until workers returned to work today. A Murray Goulburn spokesman said it expected manufacturing operations to continue as normal.
